Change of Season

The days are getting a little shorter each day as we clear away the fallen leaves in the yard and garden. It will soon be time to celebrate Thanksgiving, and then, Christmas. Many Ohioan's head to Florida or other Southern states before snow begins to fall. But, as for my husband, Ken, and I, we would so miss the changing of the seasons. As he uses his camera and as I paint, we fully appreciate the beauty that God creates no matter what the season.

As leaves begin to fall, and geese take to the skies,

My thoughts take me to turkey, and also pumpkin pies.

There are so many things we are thankful for,

All given and hand-created by our great Lord.

Thanks be to God.

Let me be grateful, no matter where I live,

Let me know, He's always there,

Help my family to grow in His love,

His presence be known as He loves from above.
